In property matters, the Firm has acted in many residential development projects and land sales and purchases. It acts or has acted for developers in the sale of units in large development projects. These include Nouvelle Park, Yu Li Yuan (now called Mayfair Gardens), Sin Chuan Villas, Tat Lee Court, and UIC’s Belleforte as well as the Keppel Group projects at Cluny Hill, Butterworth 8, Urbana, The Suites at Central and the as yet to be launched Naga Court.
The Firm also represents and/or has represented owners of building projects in their leases (and enforcement of leases) at Keppel Bay Tower, The Gateway, Marina Square Shopping Centre, West Mall Shopping Centre, The Fullerton, Parco Bugis Junction and the as yet to be built shopping centre along Serangoon Central / Upper Serangoon Road.
The Firm has significant experience in collective sales. It has acted or continues to act in a number of collective sales of properties such as Eng Lok Mansion, Robin Heights, Telok Kurau (8 flats), Buckley Mews, Tudor Close (3 units), Spottiswoode Apartment, Pender Court, Tan Tong Meng Tower, Margate Mansion, Welkin Mansion, Arthur Mansion, Casa Jervois, Equatorial Apartments, Seaview Point, Mayfair Gardens, Thomson Grove, Naung Court, Meyer Place, Sutton Place, Amber Towers and Maxwell House.
The Firm has also acted for hotel owners. The work has included the negotiation and drafting of hotel operating agreements. Over the years, it has also advised on the issues that have cropped up in operating and managing the hotels at Marina Square.
